Hello, my name is Ms. Lo! This is my second year teaching first grade, and my eighth year of teaching age’s pre-k to second grade. I was born and raised in the small rural town of Strasburg, Colorado. I grew up playing sports, raising farm animals, and enjoying time with my family and friends. I graduated high school in 2008 and graduated college from the University of Northern Colorado in 2013 with my teacher degree. After several years of teaching back in my hometown, I decided to get to the city and accepted this position at this amazing school. Outside of school, I enjoy going to concerts, crafting, hiking, and visiting with friends and family.

I feel so blessed and excited to be part of this challenging, meaningful, and adventurous program and to be part of this amazing community.

Math Approach:

  • The curriculum we use Engage NY. Students access math through a balance of workshop, procedural fluency and conceptual understanding.
